About Us
Our Founder
My name is David Feltz, and I am the founder and president of A Second Chance at Life. I want to share how renewed faith not only gave me a second chance but also inspired me to help others find theirs. Like many of you, I’ve been through seasons of immense hardship. In 2019, my world fell apart. I lost my father unexpectedly, my relationship crumbled, and I was left without a job. But what followed was a series of choices—selfish, destructive decisions—that led me down a darker path. Those decisions resulted in my arrest, and I was sentenced to five years in prison. I own that path. I made those choices, and they brought me to that place.
But it was in that prison cell, where everything else was stripped away, that God finally broke through to me. He tore down the walls of pride, fear, and self-doubt that had imprisoned me for so long. My mistakes, my failures, and my weaknesses were not the end of my story—they became the foundation for something new. Over 2,000 years after Christ’s sacrifice, God was breaking ground once more—this time, in my life.
Now, I want to help you break ground in yours.
