Our Leadership

Tomas Diaz- Director of Peer Support & Recovery

Mr. Diaz brings raw experience, hard-earned wisdom, and relentless compassion to his role as the director of peer support & recovery at Second Chance at Life.  A former drug dealer and addict who has walked the long, painful road of incarceration and transformation, he now uses his past to build a powerful future for others.

As a dedicated member of Narcotics Anonymous, Tomas has committed his life to helping others break the chains of addiction and find freedom through faith, support, and structure.  He previously served as a peer support advocate for the Knox County Drug Court Team, providing firsthand insight and encouragement to individuals navigating recovery and the justice system.

In addition to his advocacy, Tomas is a proud member of Boilermakers Union Local 158, proving that recovery doesn’t just lead to healing– it leads to purpose, employment, and empowerment.

His mission is simple: to walk with those society often overlooks, offering the same second chance as he was once given.
