We are not looking for perfect people. We are looking for real ones. People who have overcome: addiction, incarceration, street life, or trauma–and decided not to waste their second chance.  If that’s you, Second Chance at life need your voice, your scars, and  your strength.

Our Street Life Sponsor’s Mentorship Program is built on real relationships. We need mentors who can guide with wisdom and walk with grace. We need volunteers who can support classes, share life skills, help with outreach, or just show up and care.  We match participants with mentors who get it–not just in theory, but in truth. Men and women who have fought through the same fire and came out refined.

Not everyone can walk this path– but if you’ve lived it, you can lead it.

Mentors help with:

• Weekly check-ins with participants
• Guiding through life skills and recovery classes
• Sharing lived experience and accountability
• Encouraging growth, responsibility, and confidence

You might be ready to lead if:

• You have overcome addiction, prison, or the streets.
• You have rebuilt your life and want to help others do the same.
• You can show up consistently and speak truth in love.
• You  are ready to walk with someone, not just talk at them.
